House Rules

Rules

These rules apply to Little Pandas SA members and to all parents and/or guardians accompanying children.

Trial Class

A trial class is offered to all members once they have registered for a fee of CHF 20.

Schedule Changes

Course schedules and content may be modified by the organizer. If the modified schedule is unsuitable, a refund will be offered on condition that Little Pandas SA is informed in writing as soon as the parents have received the schedule modification announcement. All changes will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance by email and social networks, subject to cases of force majeure.

Little Pandas SA’s opening hours are posted on the website and are subject to change at any time. In addition, Little Pandas SA reserves the right to close occasionally if necessary for management reasons, e.g. maintenance or renovation. Such closures do not entitle Little Pandas SA to any compensation or refund.

Cancellation of Camps Registration

Any request to cancel a course must be made at least 3 weeks in advance (15 working days) before the course start date. Otherwise, the full cost of the course will be payable, unless a medical certificate is provided.

Missed Courses or Cancellation

As spaces are limited, once you have registered for a course, your space is reserved. As a result, missed classes will not be replaced or reimbursed. In the event of absence or unexpected illness, no refund or reduction will be made. However, any student who misses three or more consecutive classes due to illness or due to an accident may obtain a credit note on presentation of a medical certificate. This credit can be used exclusively for a class at Little Pandas SA. A class may be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before it is due to start. Cancellations must be made in writing to info@littlepandas.ch or done on your online account.

In case you have a change of plan and would like to cancel your booking, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance before the star of your class. However, you will not be refunded but you will have a credit which will be added to your account and can be used within 6 months. If the cancellation is not made 24 hours before the start of the class you will not get any credit back.

Health measures

Specific measures may be taken in the event of an epidemic (e.g. coronavirus, etc.). In accordance with Ordinance 3 of the Labor Law (OLT 3) concerning the protection of employees’ health, Little Pandas SA reserves the right to check students’ temperatures and exclude cases of fever.

Insurance

Little Pandas SA is not responsible for any accidents. All students, parents and/or guardians must be covered by accident and liability insurance.

Accident

Little Pandas SA and its employees shall in no circumstances be held liable for damage and/or injury caused by accidents or illnesses that are directly or indirectly related to the use of Little Pandas SA facilities. By exercising due care and caution, the member uses the facilities under the responsibility of the parent(s) and/or responsible persons, accompanying children at their own risk. In addition, the parent(s) and/or responsible person(s) are entirely responsible for their personal belongings.

Timetable

Classes start at the time indicated. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the start of the class to avoid interrupting or disrupting the lesson. Instructors may refuse to accept students whose late arrival interferes with the quality of the class. Classes also finish on time. Parents and/or guardians must be present at the end of each lesson to collect their child.

Dress Code

To avoid burns and/or scratches, it is essential that your child wears soft, close-fitting sportswear that covers the stomach, knees and shoulders. Long hair must be tied back. Jewelry and dangling or protruding earrings are forbidden. Shoes are not allowed in the classrooms. A shoe bin is available at the entrance to each room and play area. Adults taking part in motri-gym sessions must also respect the necessary dress code and not wear shoes inside the classrooms. Shoes may not be worn in the play area either. For Star Chefs and Little and Star Freedom Play classes, children can easily get wet or stained. It is important that children and accompanying adults wear appropriate clothing, and that parents provide a change of clothes in case this is necessary.

Discipline

Children must be under the constant and attentive supervision of a responsible adult. After a warning, any object that is disruptive or endangers oneself or others through inappropriate behavior may be returned without claim for reimbursement. After a warning, inappropriate behavior by accompanying adults and/or members (including in the reception area) may also result in a member’s dismissal. The accompanying adult undertakes to ensure that the member follows all directions and instructions given by Little Pandas SA, and that he/she complies strictly with the rules of hygiene. If any equipment or toys are broken or damaged, adults must inform the children’s area supervisor immediately so that they can take action.

Behavior and Respect for Others

Your child must show respect towards other participants, staff members, and Little Pandas SA facilities.

Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Rules for the Reception Area

The Little Pandas SA welcome area is intended to be a friendly, peaceful and self-managed place. Between classes, members’ parents and siblings are welcome in this area. They may stay there during the member’s course, provided they keep quiet and do not disturb the classes. When the class is over and the next one begins, please vacate the space for the next class.

Surveillance cameras are present in the lounge area to protect against theft of products from the fridges and counter. The entire lounge area is monitored. Files are kept for 48 hours.

Activity Room Rules

All food and drink is strictly forbidden inside the classrooms. Similarly, it is forbidden to enter classrooms with cell phones switched on, or to accept or make calls.

Each class is programmed for one child and one parent and/or chaperone. A second parent and/or carer may attend only occasionally. If you don’t have childcare, it’s possible to bring an accompanying child who is too young to take a class. If the course is full, Little Pandas SA reserves the right to refuse more than one accompanying adult per course. If you come with more than one accompanying person, Little Pandas SA must be informed at the time of registration.

Parents and/or guardians accompanying children must remain contactable at all times for a period not exceeding 1h30.
